HOW TO SET BROWSERS TO OPEN LINKS ONLY IN NEW TABS IN FIREFOX, GOOGLE CHROME, INTERNET EXPLORER AND SAFARI (MAC & IPHONE)?

A very useful set of tricks for you about HOW TO SET BROWSERS TO OPEN LINKS ONLY IN NEW TABS IN FIREFOX, GOOGLE CHROME, INTERNET EXPLORER AND SAFARI (MAC & IPHONE)?

By default, the firefox opens all the links in the same tab.

This is annoying some times when we like to come back to one of the previously viewed pages.

There is no setting in Firefox to set it to open all the links only in new tabs.

Here are SIMPLE TRICKS to deal with this customization:

MOZILLA FIREFOX

(1) USUAL METHOD:

Right click on the link.  Find the option “Open the link in a new tab”. Click on it. However, it will be annoying to do this every time.

(2) USE EVERY TIME:

Whenever you like to open a link, press CONTROL Key also while clicking the link.  That’s all.  The link will be opened in the new tab.

(3) IF YOU USE SCHROLLING MOUSE:

Just make a centre click on the link.  It will open in a new tab.

(4) USING ADDONS:

When we can use the above methods and if we can remember to press CTRL before clicking links, why should we use an addon? Too much of addons may slow down your browser.  However, if you want addons they are available.

However, you may search for these addons by clicking OPTIONS in Firefox and clicking ADDONS and then searching for the addons and finally installing:

Try these free addons:  (i)  Tab Mix Plus  (ii) Open link in new tab
